On Sunday 7th May, the prestigious choir AROMAS de GUARDAMAR joined with Crescendo choir to sing at the music school in Guardamar in aid of local Caritas.
The Guardamar choir is well known in the area as it has been in existence for over forty years. Also well known, although somewhat younger, a mere twelve years, is Crescendo International choir. They were brought together by Toni Guillen who is MD for Aromas and accompanist for Crescendo.
The Guardamar choir sang first followed by Crescendo who sang their last three songs in Spanish. The two choirs then joined together to sing ‘Amapola’ a popular folk song in Spain. The concert raised 411€ for local charities which will be put to very good use in the town.
