2 cups of plain flour
½ cup of hot milk
1 tspn baking powder
½ cup of warm water
½ tspn salt
1 tspn Nigella seeds or black/white sesame seeds
Heat the milk put in a large mixing bowl, add baking powder to the hot milk, mix well and keep it aside undisturbed for 1 minute, bubbles will form.
Sift the plain flour, add the salt and add both to the milk and make a soft dough, using the warm water. Leave to stand for ¾ hours to rise.
Divide the dough into 6 balls, roll out each in an oblong shape, pull one corner to make pointed at one end. sprinkle and roll on Nigella or sesame seeds.
Cover your grill tray with foil and bake the naan in a high heat, grill until brown specks appear, then turn them over to cook the other side. While hot smear butter and serve hot with curries.
