Another good month for the Club as several of our players were successful in the 2017 Champion of Champions event.

At the same time as the men’s singles was being played our Club Mixed Pairs champions, Carol Broomfield and Jason Prokopowyz (pictured) were producing a magnificent match against Sabrina Marks and Tom Hill of San Luis, with Carol and Jason eventually taking the title of Costa Blanca Mixed Singles Champions.

Our spring leagues have just commenced, so there is not much to report at the moment.

The Club’s AGM was held at the beginning of April and whilst some of the original members are continuing, we are pleased to welcome Tina Brinton as our new Treasurer and Carol Smyth who has taken on the position of Competition's Secretary. We wish them both every good wish in their new positions.

At the beginning of April the club held an Open Super 3 Singles competition. This is a new 1 day singles competition which Terry Morgan has introduced to our area and proved very popular with many singles players from other clubs competing for the title. The winner of the competition for this initial event was Sandra Heath from our Club. Many entries have already been received for the 2018 event next April.

Our Saturday morning ‘Chicken Drive’ is open to visitors. Players wishing to take part should report at 9.45am for a 10am start.

For more information about our club please contact our membership secretary Joe Riley on 96 572 5787 or email
